SafeFlow™ Explosion-Proof Coal Injection System for Lime Kilns
Pulverized Coal Injection System for Lime Kilns – Coal Injection Tank
Coal Storage Silo
To maintain pressure balance in the coal storage silo, a dust collector is installed at the top of each silo. When conveying pulverized coal into the silo, the dust collector is activated first to promptly exhaust the conveying gas from the silo, preventing coal powder leakage.
For safety, an explosion relief valve is mounted on the top of each silo. This valve serves dual purposes: pressure relief in case of overpressure and explosion venting in the event of coal dust combustion. Additionally, pressure and temperature sensors are installed in the silo to monitor operational status. If abnormal temperature rise (indicating potential fire) is detected, a nitrogen purging system is immediately activated to ensure safe silo operation.
Metering & Injection Tank (Pneumatic Conveying Vessel)
The injection tank comprises a cylindrical body and a conical section. Key components include:
- Explosion-proof device
- Fluidization device
- Pressure relief/ventilation device
The tank maintains sufficient internal pressure to ensure uniform, uninterrupted coal powder discharge. A weighing system is integrated, with feeding controlled automatically via a PLC-based program.
