The Perfect Lime Kiln for Your Needs | PFR lime kiln & High-Efficiency Kilns

Customized Kiln Solutions for Every Lime Quality
We provide customized kiln solutions capable of producing the specific grades of lime you require, enabling you to fully meet your customers’ diverse needs.
Does the steel industry demand ultra-high-activity lime? Our PFR series kilns are your ideal choice.
Does your client base span construction, water treatment, Flue Gas Desulfurization (FGD), and other wide-ranging applications? Our PFR kilns can deliver either high-activity or medium-activity lime to match these varied requirements.
Do you require hard-burnt lime for the production of sand-lime bricks, aerated concrete, or similar products?
Are you looking to utilize kiln off-gases for the production of PCC (Precipitated Calcium Carbonate), soda ash, sugar, or other industrial processes? Operating in oxygen-enriched combustion mode, our PFR kilns offer the optimal solution for these applications.
Are you seeking a future-proof investment that facilitates the simple liquefaction, utilization, or sequestration of CO₂ from exhaust gases? We have developed specialized kiln technology designed to help you achieve precisely this objective.
Vertical Kiln Shell Structure
The vertical kiln shell features a heavy-duty steel structure design, serving several core functions: securely retaining the refractory lining, ensuring the gas-tightness of the entire kiln assembly, supporting externally mounted equipment, and maintaining a stable, continuous combustion process.
A sound kiln shell design directly determines the quality and output of the lime produced, as well as the overall service life of the kiln. The kiln shell body is fabricated from 10 mm thick steel plates joined by welding; transverse weld seams are reinforced with 16 mm thick circumferential stiffener rings to ensure structural integrity and gas-tightness. The exterior surface of the shell features welded 10 mm thick longitudinal stiffeners, while the central section is further reinforced with an outer cladding of 12 mm thick steel plates.
This design is meticulously engineered to accommodate and adapt to the thermal expansion of the refractory materials, as well as the gas expansion generated during the limestone calcination process, thereby effectively preventing issues such as shell cracking or weld failure. Multiple access ports and inspection doors are strategically integrated at various elevations along the shell, greatly facilitating construction, installation, routine inspections, and ongoing maintenance operations. Suspended-Shell Regenerative Vertical Kiln
**Structure and Features**
This kiln features a unique “suspended” design, wherein the entire kiln body is supported by an external steel framework. This design allows the kiln body to expand freely when heated, thereby significantly reducing internal structural stresses.
**Working Principle**
Raw materials are fed into the kiln from the top and slowly descend under the force of gravity, engaging in efficient heat exchange with hot flue gases flowing upward from the bottom. The kiln employs a dual-shell alternating operation mode for calcination, utilizing regenerative chambers to efficiently recover waste heat from the exhaust gases.
**Advantages**
Ultra-high thermal efficiency (780 kcal/kg)
No mechanical components at the base; low maintenance requirements and long service life
High degree of automation, suitable for large-scale production
Strict control over raw material particle size ensures a stable and uniform calcination process
**Applications**
Large-scale modern lime production plants
Applications requiring strict adherence to environmental protection and energy consumption standards
