DN400 Hydraulic Pressure Relief Valve for Lime Kiln Systems
Pressure Relief Valve
The relief valve is installed on the 38.59-meter platform, connecting the combustion air main duct and the flue gas exhaust main duct. During normal operation, the valve remains closed. When the kiln undergoes directional switching, the relief valve opens first, directly connecting the kiln chamber to the flue gas exhaust duct. This allows pressure release at the kiln top, significantly reducing the pressure surge from the combustion air and cooling air relief valves during venting in the switching phase, thereby improving the on-site working environment.
Structure: The system consists of a DN400 butterfly valve and a hydraulic control system. Its directional control valve is located at Valve Station 93.
